All involved in music from the early stages of their lives, they have individually built up impressive resume’s gigging, touring, producing, writing, and releasing records. In 2010 they decided to combine forces. What you get is an authentic blend of great sounding music that is derived from soul, funk, house music, hip hop, classical music and various other musical influences.
Dwight Brown grew up in Rotterdam, the homebase of the dutch R’n’B scene. It’s impossible to place Dwight Brown in a certain lane but he stays true to his roots which is music with an afro feel, lovely vocals with a soulful and uplifting character. His diverse influences in music has led him to become a versatile producer and a sought after DJ.
You can catch Dwight Brown at parties in the Catwalk, Rain, Suzy Wong, maasilo, Club NL, Hotel Arena, Club Home. He has also belted out remixes for the likes of Lucien Foort, I- Fan, DJ Marcella, Atjazz, and Roger Sanchez.
Merel Sluman grew up in a musical family. Muscial genes being passed down by her mother who was singer, she found out at an early age that singing was her passion. The influence of soul, jazz, and blues is clearly heard in her powerful and warm voice. Her album, “Leaving” was ML Radio 2 CD of the week and two singles off that same album where charted in the top 100.
